The Couple and Family Therapy Clinic at Northern Illinois University is offering a special deal for any couple who starts counseling in September – six free sessions.
Counseling services are provided by second-year graduate students (with faculty supervision), and available to NIU students, staff and faculty as well as members of the community.
Couples can get help dealing with many issues including intimacy, communication, parenting, infertility, break-ups, divorce, infidelity and healthy boundaries.
The clinic is committed to serving everyone regardless of their ability to pay the full cost, said CFTC Director Natalia Vinokur.
Couples who take advantage of the six free sessions can continue counseling with sessions fees determined on a sliding-fee scale.
