Performance links medieval days to modern times

DeKALB – In a virtual edu-tainment adventure hosted by the DeKalb Public Library at 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 14, singer-songwriter and historian Barry Cloyd will travel back to the days of knights and chivalry.

Learn how the discoveries and inventions of the Middle Ages had a major impact on our lives today. Cloyd touches on many important periods of Middle Ages history and utilizes various musical instruments, well-known and obscure, to animate the period music in this program.

While the audience will be muted, attendees will be able to type questions and engage with the presenter.
