In lieu of the popular festival that in the past 42 years has brought thousands to downtown DeKalb, organizers have developed a creative way to raise funds for this year’s recipient, Opportunity House.
Each year, Corn Fest selects a local nonprofit to raise money for, and this year they’ll sell special T-shirts, donating 100% of the proceeds to Opportunity House.
The nonprofit also will serve as the 2021 recipient when the festival returns. Sales for the 50/50 raffle will also take place for next year’s festival at local outlets this year. For information, visit www.cornfest.com.
