The DeKalb County Clerk & Recorder’s office has forms available on the department’s website to help with property tax relief during the coronavirus pandemic.

According to a news release from Doug Johnson, clerk and recorder, the forms for DeKalb County property taxpayers may be used for relief during the economic crisis caused by the viral pandemic.

Forms PTAX-761 and PTAX-245 are available for those who suffered property damage and want to make a request for deductions or reassessments.

The forms are available from the Illinois Department of Revenue, county assessor or the clerk/recorder’s office. They will also be available on the county website, dekalbcounty.org
