First National Bank supports local FFA chapters

First National Bank of Omaha is investing in the future of agriculture by donating to eight local FFA chapters in Illinois.

The bank is donating a total of $2,000 to the following FFA chapters: DeKalb, Harvard, Hinckley-Big Rock, Kaneland, Newark, Rochelle, Somonauk-Leland-Sandwich and Sycamore.

FNBO’s contribution is part of its broader efforts to celebrate National Agriculture Week and will help provide positive educational experiences for the students enrolled in agricultural education in Illinois, according to a news release.

“We’re proud to support the agriculture industry and join in FFA’s mission of developing premier leadership, personal growth and career success for the next generation of farmers,” Stan Free, regional vice president, said in the news release.

FNBO is also donating to the Nebraska FFA Foundation, Colorado FFA Foundation and local FFA chapters in South Dakota.
