SYCAMORE – Waste Management has suspended the collection of bulky items until further notice.
The suspension includes scheduled events or extra call-in service for bulky items, as well as "white good pickup."
Waste Management is maintaining its standard collection schedule for trash and recycle items and is not experiencing any collection interruptions, according to a statement on the City of Sycamore website.
If circumstances change that may impact the Waste Management's service as scheduled, the company will update its customers and the communities it serves.

The City of Sycamore is also allowing bars – which hold Class B liquor licenses – to sell packaged liquor for off premises consumption in accordance with the city code, according to the city's website.
The city also is allowing restaurants with Class A liquor licenses that wish to temporarily allow the sale of packaged liquor for off premises consumption during the COVID-19 pandemic to contact the city at 815-895-4853 for permission.
Sycamore City Manager Brian Gregpry said the city also is providing an extension on restaurant and bar tax filing, though details are still being ironed out and will be shared once more information is known.
