SYCAMORE – The Sycamore Chamber of Commerce reports a variety of businesses opening, expanding and relocating to the area.
SYCAMORE – Chapel in the Pines received the 2011 Discover Diamond Award from Discover Sycamore at the organization’s annual meeting Feb. 15. The Discover Diamond Award was created in 2004 to honor businesses that have demonstrated substantial improvements to their location while showing commitment to the entire Sycamore business community.

DeKALB — Northern Illinois University’s Digital Initiatives and Digital Convergence Lab (DCL) have created a mobile tour of the historic neighborhood that surrounds Lincoln Home National Historic Site near the state capital in Springfield.
Illinois hospitals contributed more than $4.6 billion in programs and services to their communities last year, according to the fifth annual report issued by the Illinois Hospital Association.
