SYCAMORE – Wild animals are facing a strenuous time of year as winter settles in. University of Illinois Extension educator Peggy Doty will offer Winter Bird Feeding, an informational program to guide people in providing appropriate winter food for their feathered friends, from 3 to 4 p.m. Monday, Nov. 18.
SYCAMORE – Brian Bemis World Auto helped to raise $1,840 for the Kaneland High School football team with the Ram Truck brand’s Ram Gridiron Challenge program. The fundraising event was held during a varsity football game on Oct. 11.
SYCAMORE – More than 650 Special Olympics athletes competed in Special Olympics Illinois’ fall volleyball tournament at Harlem High School in Rockford Oct. 26-27. This was one of eight Special Olympics Illinois tournaments in 2013, and included volleyball and equestrian contests.
