DEKALB – Pre-1950s toys and dolls of all types will be featured at the annual Holiday Open House at DeKalb’s Joseph F. Glidden Homestead and Historical Center.
GENOA – Downtown Genoa’s outdoor ice rink will return this year bigger and better than ever. The rink was built last year by the non-profit organization, Genoa Main Street, Inc.

In 1964, the book “Flat Stanley,” by Jeff Brown, was published. It’s the story of a boy who wakes up to find the bedroom bulletin board has fallen on him in the night and flattened him to the width of a piece of paper.
