McDonald's celebrates reopening

The newly remodeled DeKalb McDonald’s, at 805 W. Lincoln Highway, celebrated its grand reopening with a ribbon-cutting and cake-cutting Aug. 10. The event was attended by owner-operators John Lardas Sr. and Julie Basden, DeKalb Mayor Jerry Smith, friends, colleagues and McDonald’s executives. The restaurant has a new dining room, self-order kiosks, mobile ordering, table service and a state of-the-art kitchen.
