Kish paramedic graduation ceremony held Aug. 1

Kishwaukee College celebrated the 2019 paramedic graduating class with a ceremony on Aug. 1 at the college. Kishwaukee College held a ceremony on Aug. 1 to recognize graduating paramedic students. The students were presented with their certificates before family and friends, signifying their successful completion of the program.

The paramedic graduating class of 2019 are: Tyler Ament, Plano; Jonathan Bingham, Clare; Ryan Cihak, Plano; Timothy Goldsmith, Plano; Joshua Hadden, Plano; Caitlyn Januszewski, Pingree Grove; Jose Lopez-Pacheco, Plano; Michael Mathey, Sycamore; Nicholas Schiradelly, Plano; and Robert Searls, DeKalb.

The ceremony included remarks from paramedic course director and lead instructor Tony Woodson and dean of instruction Chase Budziak. Emergency Medical Services educator with Kishwaukee Hospital EMS System Ashton King delivered remarks on behalf of paramedic lead instructor Kristine Pruski. Pastor Ray Krueger of Immanuel Lutheran Church in DeKalb led the Blessing of the Hands for the graduates.
