You're invited to a baby shower – and the mother-to-be is Tails Humane Society in DeKalb.

The humane society is hosting a Baby Shower supply drive through June 22, as it expects to care for more than 1,300 homeless and orphaned kittens and puppies in the shelter and its foster programs, according to a news release.

An Amazon wish list has been set up for interested donors to view the shelter's needs, which include dry and wet baby pet food, baby wipes, nursing bottles, toys, litter boxes, puppy pads, nail clippers and play pens. The wish list can also be viewed at www.tailshumanesociety.org/wishlist.

The shelter will also accept monetary donations or in-person drop-offs, which can be received during business hours in the lobby of the shelter located at 2250 Barber Greene Road.
