Seminar offered on end-of-life decisions

Olson Funeral & Cremation Services will host a free – no obligation – lunch-and-learn session about end-of-life decisions.

Advance funeral planning expert Jane Burden will explore the question of how people can give loved ones peace of mind on one of the worst days of their lives.

The session will be held at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, May 29, at Panera Bread, 2476 Sycamore Road in DeKalb.

Mark Podemski of Comfort Keepers will discuss important tips to look at while choosing a caregiver who can elevate the lives of seniors. He joined the company after seeing firsthand the challenges his mother and grandmother faced in needing help with health issues in order to remain in their own homes. Comfort Keepers offers companionship and personal care to aid clients, helping them achieve and live at their best quality of life.

The event will include a catered meal and will share information for anyone wanting more information about how best to record funeral decisions.

All that is required to attend the free lunch is a reservation, call Quiram Sycamore Chapel at 815-895-6589.
