G-K groups raise money for Meals on Wheels

The Genoa-Kingston PTO and the Genoa-Kingston United Way agency recently raised funds to move five residents off the Voluntary Action Center Meals on Wheels waiting list to become weekly recipients of meals. The two groups partnered with Rite Bite fundraising for the effort to help offset costs to begin these services. The Genoa-Kingston United Way has been working for some time to reduce the number of residents on the waiting list.
