G-K teens promote service project

Sixth-graders from Genoa-Kingston Middle School designed an advertisement to promote an upcoming teen community service event to raise money for a worthy cause in their town. The Leadership & Community Service class, taught by Carol Hencken, is a six-week course that touches on leadership traits, good role models, reading body language and contributing to their community in a positive way throughout the teen years. Pictured (from left) are Mady King, Olivia Vasak, Mikayla Bass and Mia Wise.
