Genoa-Kingston United Way began to serve the citizens of Genoa and Kingston on March 14, 1967. Today, 50 years later, seven volunteer adult board members and 14 youth board members continue to serve the communities of Genoa and Kingston. Greenlee has always been a vital contributor to the work of United Way. Each year corporate Greenlee/Emerson, as well as the employees of the Genoa Greenlee plant, support the local agency. In 2018, a combined $13,976 was donated to the G-K United Way. Pictured are members of the Genoa Greenlee/Emerson plant with this year's donation to G-K United Way Board President Marcy Billington.
