VetsRoll founder visits G-K Middle School

Mark Finnegan, founder of VetsRoll in Beloit, Wisconsin, visited the sixth-grade class at Genoa-Kingston Middle School. He gave a presentation about taking veterans on bus trips sponsored by VetsRoll to Washington, D.C., to see their memorials. He told the students that we are losing senior veterans at a rate of 900-1,000 per day. This trip allows them a chance to socialize, and bring about closure, gratitude and respect for their service. Students from GKMS along with Genoa Elementary School wrote more than 500 personal letters to the veterans that will be handed out on the next trip. Donations are accepted at www.VetsRoll.org.
