DeKALB – The Teen Tech program at the DeKalb Public Library will offer some circuitry at 1:30 p.m. Thursday – an early release day from school.
The group will build with Snap Circuits Jr., a hands-on introduction to electronics. They’ll snap circuit components together on top of a base board to make fans spin, lights shine and music play. After a brief introduction, attendees will be able to play. They can follow instructions, or make their own circuits.
Teen Tech is a monthly program that introduces teens to new technologies. It is usually offered on early release days. Materials for Teen Tech are provided through a grant from the Kishwaukee Sunrise Rotary. The program will be held in the Teen Room.
