DeKalb Public Library to host used book sale

DeKALB – The Friends of the DeKalb Public Library are sponsoring a spring sale of thousands of used books, music and audio book CDs and DVDs.

The sale will be at the DeKalb Public Library, 309 Oak St., and will run from April 20-22. Hours will be 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and 1 to 5 p.m. Sunday.

Prices are 25 cents for children’s books and mass market paperbacks, $1 for trade and large paperbacks, $1.50 for hard cover books, $1 for all CDs and $2.50 for DVDs. Some books will carry a special price.

On Sunday, bags will be provided for a $5-a-bag book blowout sale. CDs and DVDs will also be sold at half price.

Most items have been donated from library patrons and community members. Books, CDs and DVDs in good condition are accepted by the library year-round. Encyclopedias, textbooks, LPs and video tapes are not accepted.
