DeKALB – The DeKalb Police Benevolent and Protective Association is inviting the community to its annual pancake breakfast April 29.
The event raises money for volunteer work and charitable functions sponsored by the association. Some of the groups the police association has assisted over the years include DeKalb High School sports teams, Fairdale tornado relief, Hope Haven, Illinois Special Olympics and the Egyptian Theatre.
The breakfast will be from 8 a.m. to noon at the Knights of Columbus Hall at 1336 E. Lincoln Highway.
Tickets are $5 for adults and $2 for children ages 7 to 11. Children 6 years old or younger get in free.
