Kishwaukee College will host a free information session on the summer Short-Term Training Programs at 6 p.m. Wednesday, April 11 in Room B2303 at the college.
The programs being offered this summer are: Phlebotomy Technician, Pharmacy Technician and Dental Assistant. All programs will begin the week of May 7 and complete by Aug. 22.
Short-Term Training are noncredit programs that prepare students for a variety of entry-level positions. The training prepares students to work in the field and to pass national certification testing. Short-Term Training programs often provide a path to a skilled position that can act as a gateway to further career development.
All three of the programs offered this summer combine classroom learning with externships for practical application and experience. Externship placement assistance is provided by Kish College.
