Tai chi class offered at Barb City Manor

Kishwaukee College and Barb City Manor will offer "Tai Chi with Tom"  from 11 to 11:45 a.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays, Jan. 16 through Feb. 15, at Barb City Manor, 680 Haish Boulevard in DeKalb. Tom Scott, owner of Hero Martial Arts, will lead this class. Tai chi is practiced for health, wellness, pain relief and to improve physical ability. It can be done sitting or standing. This class will improve relaxation, breathing and blood flow. This class is open to the community. Those interested can register at Barb City Manor on the first day or class or call 815-825-9466 to pre-register. The cost is $25 for seniors 60 and older, and $49 for those younger than 60.
