Kishwaukee College and the DeKalb County Nonprofit Partnership are partnering to offer a free QuickBooks 101 class for nonprofit professionals on Nov. 8, from 2 to 5 p.m. in Room A1221 at the college. Participants should park in Lot A/South and enter through Door 16. Registration is required.
QuickBooks is an accounting software that is designed for small and medium-size businesses and is often used by nonprofit organizations to efficiently and effectively record financial activity. The QuickBooks 101 class will cover basic set-up and functions, customer and sales transactions, vendor and expense transactions, banking and list items.
The QuickBooks 101 class will be taught by Dawn Heid, owner of Profit Partners Consulting Inc.
