The Kishwaukee College annual career fair will be from noon to 4 p.m. April 20 in the Kishwaukee College Conference Center.
Job seekers attending the career fair should park in the A parking Lot and enter the Kishwaukee College Conference Center through doors 16 or 17. The career fair is free to job seekers and open to the public.
There are more than 50 local employers with open full-time and part-time positions scheduled to be at the career fair. Job seekers are encouraged to bring resumes and information to fill out applications on site. Participating employers have the option to reserve private rooms for individual interviews, so job seekers should be prepared to be interviewed.
It is recommended that job seekers dress to impress and have an “elevator” speech (short introduction of yourself to prospective employers) prepared.
Job seekers who would like assistance with resume, interview skills, elevator speech or general preparation are encouraged to contact the Kishwaukee College Career Center at 815-825-9472 or the Illinois workNet Center at 815-901-0177.
For information on the fair, call 815-825-9472 or visit www.kishwaukeecollege.edu/careerfair, which includes a complete list of employers that will be attending the career fair.
