Committee seeks volunteers for Wall That Heals

The Wall That Heals is scheduled to be displayed July 13 through 16 at the Sycamore Park off of Airport Road in Sycamore.

The Wall That Heals Committee is looking for volunteers to help set up the wall upon arrival, help during the display of the wall and especially help take down the wall after the display.

The committee is seeking volunteers for any and all times. People can join the committee, donate money and/or contact the committee prior to arrival to offer help.

Monetary contributions are tax deductible. Checks can be made payable to The Wall That Heals and can be deposited at any Resource Bank or dropped off or mailed to the DeKalb County Veterans Assistance Office, 2500 N. Annie Glidden Road, Suite A, DeKalb, IL 60115.

The committee is hoping to have military living history encampments of any and all eras of our military history. To volunteer for an encampment, contact Frank Beierlotzer at ffb66@juno.com or 815-901-3834.
