Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of DeKalb, 158 N. Fourth St., will hold a Spring Farmers Market with local artisans from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. March 18.
The market will include food and craft vendors, local musicians, a used book sale and plenty of baked goods.
Hasselmann Farms will sell fresh grass-fed beef, pork and poultry. In addition Scott Hasselman will have farm fresh eggs, pork, sausage, locally sourced cheese, and more, all organically and humanely raised. There also will be locally raised honey.
The market will offer a large variety of craft and artwork items from DeKalb County artisans. There also will be French, German and Greek baked goods, homemade breads and many other items to choose from.
“We have vendors offering a great variety of items for sale, from metal jewelry to crocheted items, hooked rugs, goat soap, hats, original paintings, photography, ceramics, weaving supplies, and much, much more," organizer Dan Kenney said in a news release. "I can’t begin to list all of the items available. It will be a great, fun market to attend.”
A variety of local musicians will share their talent – from piano to steel guitar and more – throughout the day. In addition, members of DeKalb County Community Gardens will offer gardening tips and fresh greens.
There will be a $1 admission at the door.
