MAPLE PARK – The Crazy Quail clay target fun shoot fundraiser for Special Olympics will be held Saturday, Sept. 20, at Goodenough, Inc. Irrigation Specialists, 5N213 County Line Road in Maple Park.
Proceeds from the Crazy Quail support the Law Enforcement Torch Run for Special Olympics Illinois. The event is sponsored by the Maple Park Police Department and is scheduled from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Cost is $40 per person for 50 shells; additional rounds are available at $15 for 25 shells. Shoot targets thrown by a 360-degree rotating base that launches targets in almost any direction and angle. New shooters can practice on a Crazy Quail Mini for easy-to-hit targets.
Participants can also shoot an XRail, a modified Benelli M2 12-gauge shotgun that holds 26 rounds. Cost to shoot the XRail is $20, which includes a box of shells.
