DeKALB – Several baskets of school supplies and backpacks were collected at the sixth annual Country Music Show to Collect School Supplies on July 20 at Feed'em Soup Community Project in DeKalb.

The backpacks and school supplies will be distributed to children in need throughout DeKalb County through the local Salvation Army.

Organizer Gary Mullis performed with other country, bluegrass and gospel performers. Admission to the concert was a donation of school supplies.

Each December, Mullis hosts a similar concert to raise toys for the Salvation Army to distribute at Christmas.
