Orchestra invites public to Family Fun Day

SYCAMORE – The community is invited to the Kishwaukee Symphony Orchestra’s Family Fun Day on Aug. 9, beginning at 3 p.m. at Sycamore Community Park, 940 E. State St., Sycamore.

The event will feature a variety of activities, including live musical entertainment, a bounce house, a climbing wall, face painting, a magician, the use of the park’s tennis and volleyball courts, bags games, and horseshoe pits, and a reduced admission fee for the park’s swimming pool and golf course.

The evening will feature a gourmet picnic dinner, with indoor and outdoor seating available, a silent auction, and raffle items for adults and children. 

Activities start at 3 p.m., with a social hour at 5:30 p.m., and the picnic at 6:30 p.m.. Tickets are available at the event (though the number of seats is limited for the dinner).
