Prairie Echoes Chorus of DeKalb rocked the stage at the Midwest Harmony contest in Grand Rapids, Mich. May 17 with their barbershop rendition of "Hot, Hot, Hot." The audience were out of their chairs swaying to the music. Director Donna Bates (right) and her quartet, Pizazz, also sang in the competition. The women's barbershop chorus meets from 7:30 to 10 p.m. Tuesdays at Community of Christ Church, 1200 S. Malta Road, DeKalb. For information, visit prairieechoes.com or call 815-761-5956.
