Morker named a Fellow of ACP

SYCAMORE – Dr. Bhagavatlal Morker, MD, FACP at DeKalb Clinic, has been inducted as a Fellow of the American College of Physicians (ACP), the national organization of internists. This distinction recognizes professional accomplishments, demonstrated scholarship and superior competence in internal medicine.

Morker was inducted April 10 during the ACP annual scientific meeting. He has been elected an ACP Fellow on the recommendation of peers and the review of ACP’s Credential Subcommittee. ACP Fellows may use the letters “FACP” after their names. They are eligible to vote, hold office in ACP and sponsor candidates for Fellowship.

Morker is board certified in internal medicine and bariatric medicine. He received his medical degree in 1977 at Government Medical College in Surat, India. He completed his internship and residency at Merdia Huron Hospital in Cleveland, Ohio.
