Missman Inc. civil engineering firm opens DeKalb office

DeKALB – Missman, Inc. has opened a new office at 125 N. First St. in DeKalb. Missman is a full-service civil engineering and land surveying firm. The new branch office will provide support to its expanding client base in Illinois.

The office will be headed by Corey Stout, PE. Stout specializes in all phases of transportation and land development projects, including highway and residential, traffic signals, recreational trails, drainage studies, commercial and industrial developments, municipal engineering, construction observation and sewer/septic.

“DeKalb and Sycamore are seeing growth despite the struggling economy," Stout said. "Missman has been serving clients in DeKalb and Sycamore for over two decades. We look forward to better serving these clients with a local presence.”

The Missman DeKalb office will offer a full range of civil engineering services including roadway design, site development, water/wastewater design, structural engineering, land surveying and acquisition, and construction observation. Missman was established in 1946. Its corporate office is located in Rock Island, with branch offices in Rockford and Bettendorf, Iowa.
