SYCAMORE – The fifth annual Spring Fling activities in downtown Sycamore will take place March 21- 30. There’s something for everyone in the family.

Shoppers can enter a door prize drawing to win The Golden Egg, which will be filled with items from the participating businesses. People can enter daily at each business. No purchase is necessary, but entrants have to be 18 or older.

Some businesses will also reward customers who make a purchase with a prize egg. These eggs may contain discounts, prizes, candy, or other surprises.

Participating merchants throughout downtown will have sales and specials all week. In addition, some will host special events.

Two Sisters Emporium will offer daily spring break rainbow crafts from noon to 2 p.m. Made Just for You will have a children’s make-and-take craft with Sara McAllister from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. March 30, plus daily specials all week.

Sweet Earth will offer classes in making jewelry with beads March 27-30. During the annual Bead-a-thon, new beads and products will be introduced. See www.sweetearthjewelry.com for class details or to register.

Prairie on State will bring out spring and Easter wines and feature a wine of the month. If the weather is warm enough, the winery will also serve wine slushies.

There will also be discounts on items at Riccardi’s Red Hots, Stomp Shoes, Two Sisters, D&D Jewelry, and Christian Connection.
