New faces on Oak Crest board
2014 Oak Crest Board of Trustees President Mary Jo McAdams performed the induction of new board members Tim Beasley, Ann Tucker, Jack Goodrich and Wendy West-Krauch.
Tim Beasley and his wife, Kathy, have been members of the community for a number of years. He joins the Oak Crest board of trustees with a great deal of experience in the banking field as an executive vice president at American Midwest Bank. His volunteer community work includes time spent working with the Kishwaukee YMCA and the Sycamore Chamber of Commerce. He will sit on the Community Relations and Building committees.
Ann Tucker her husband, Jim, operate Sycamore Antiques. Her community involvement includes serving as a board member of the Midwest Museum of Natural History, park commissioner for the Sycamore Park District, and president of the Kishwaukee Symphony Orchestra. Tucker is a returning Oak Crest board member and past president. She will serve as the Oak Crest board secretary and will join the Community Relations Committee.
Jack Goodrich is a returning Oak Crest board member who has served as president and Good Samaritan. Goodrich and his wife, Marcia, have three children and 11 grandchildren. When not volunteering at Oak Crest, he is actively involved as a member of the First United Methodist Church in DeKalb and the Kishwaukee Kiwanis Club. He will join the Community Relations and Health Care committees.
Wendy West-Krauch brings experience as a financial planner with Siepert West Financial Consulting. West-Krauch has served as a board member of the chamber of commerce and volunteers with Meals on Wheels and IHSA Destination DeKalb. She has a number of clients and friends making their homes at Oak Crest and looks forward to sharing her time and talents as a member of both the Finance and Community Relations committees.
