Hill is a land-use planner specializing in farmland protection, local agricultural foods, and resource conservation. She will share legislation that the Kane County Board of Supervisors has enacted in the past three years to enhance farmland preservation and to support local food production.

The public is invited to the meeting at 10 a.m. Saturday, March 29, at the Hy-Vee club room, 2700 DeKalb Ave., Sycamore. There will be a complimentary continental breakfast served at the beginning of the meeting.

For more information on the foundation, call Donna Bennett at 815-756-7712.
