DeKALB – Westminster Presbyterian Church, 830 N. Annie Glidden Road in DeKalb, will hold its first fall chamber concert at 3 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 15. The featured work will be the Piano Concert No. 1 in D Minor by J.S. Bach, and the soloist will be Victoria Young.

Young is a staff accompanist at Westminster and studied with Dr. William Koehler at Northern Illinois University, where she received her master's degree in music. The program also includes the slow movement from Beethoven's Concerto No. 4 by soloist Gary Mattin. Pianist Yao "Lina" Lin will perform an original work that she premiered at Carnegie Hall last spring. Lin recently won the second place prizes for both piano solo and piano concerto at the American Protege International Piano and Strings Competition in New York City. She is a graduate student at NIU, studying with Dr. William Goldenberg. The concert is free, with an optional free-will offering.
