GED, ESL classes begin at Feed’em Soup

DeKALB – Hope in Unity will begin holding classes in English as a Second Language and GED preparation at Feed’em Soup, 122 S. First St. in DeKalb. Students and volunteer teachers are invited to register at eventbee.com/v/hopeinunity.

Teachers must attend a training seminar from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 7. Classes begin Tuesday, Sept. 24, and will be held on Tuesdays and Thursdays between 6 and 8 p.m. Classes sizes will be limited to 12 to 15 students.

Class fees are $50 for students attending their first semester, and $25 for each additional semester. Fees are used to pay for books and materials.
