DeKalb County receives federal emergency management grant
In August, the Illinois Emergency Management Agency awarded $4 million in grants to city and county emergency management agencies around the state to support local disaster preparation and response efforts.
DeKalb County received a grant of $35,815.46.
The grants were funded through a grant from the Federal Emergency Management Agency. The grants are awarded annually and can be used for day-to-day agency operations.
