First fall garden seminar takes on the heat

SYCAMORE – The fall series of University of Illinois Extension’s Four Seasons Gardening program, focusing on environmental stewardship and backyard food production, gets under way Tuesday, Aug. 20, with “Some Like It Hot: Plants for Hot, Dry Areas.” This program will be offered twice – at 1 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 20 and again at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 22 – via teleconference at the DeKalb County Extension office, 1350 W. Prairie Drive in Sycamore.
