DeKALB – The DeKalb Public Library has scheduled community feedback sessions in August about the expansion of the library. Sessions will include updates of where the library is with the expansion, some design details, fundraising updates and opportunities for the community to ask questions.

Feedback sessions are scheduled at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 13, 8 a.m. and 7 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 15, and 1 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 17. The morning and afternoon sessions will be held in the lower-level meeting room and the 7 p.m. session will be held on the main level near the fireplace.

All four sessions will be moderated by Dee Coover, the library’s executive director. She will be assisted by building consultant Fred Schlipf in the weekday sessions and by library communications manager Edith Craig at the Saturday session.

For more information, contact Craig at 815-756-9568, ext. 260 or edithc@dkpl.org.
