GENOA – On Saturday, June 15, The Genoa Vets Club will host the Brett’s Run Soundstage and T-Bone’s Beer Garden. The stage will open at 4 p.m., after the Genoa Days parade.

Leading the sound stage lineup at 5 p.m. is The Menagerie, whose lively mix of classic rock ‘n’ roll makes them a local favorite.

At 8:30 p.m. headliner The Wild Family will take the stage. The Wild Family is a new group founded by Genoa’s Schweitzer brothers, Zack and Jake. This self-described “rockin’ folk-indie group” also features fellow Columbia College students Graham Young and Kevin Koreman. The Wild Family, with their rich instrumentation and deep harmonies, has taken the Chicago club scene by storm.

The sound stage entry fee is $5, with 100 percent of proceeds going to the Brett’s Run Scholarship Fund.
