Sycamore continues hydrant flushing

SYCAMORE – The city of Sycamore Water Department will flush fire hydrants through April 25. Hydrants will be flushed from 9:30 a.m. until 3 p.m.; homes and businesses in areas being flushed may experience discolored water. For information, call 815-895-2548.

On Wednesday, April 17, hydrants will be flushed on East Exchange, East Sycamore, East State, North Locust, Sabin Street and Pleasant streets, Plymouth Court and Vista Terrace.

On Thursday, April 18, hydrants will be flushed on Charles, Edward and Elmwood streets, Cottage Row, South, Hillcrest, Stevens and Borden avenues, Foxpointe subdivision, Meadow Lane, Krpan, Scott and Emmert drives and IDEAL business park.

On Friday, April 19, hydrants will be flushed on Albert, DeKalb and Crosby avenues, Center Cross, Fair, Greeley, North Cross, North Main, North Maple, North California, North Sacramento, West Exchange and West Page streets and Mason Court.

On Monday, April 22, hydrants will be flushed on North Avenue, Parker and Easy streets, Brickville Road, Woodland Trail, Maple Terrace subdivision and Windfield Meadows subdivision.

On Tuesday, April 23, hydrants will be flushed in the Landahl, Primrose and Townsend Woods subdivisions and on Maplewood Drive.

On Wednesday, April 24, hydrants will be flushed in the Heron Creek, North Grove Crossing and Sycamore Creek subdivisions.

On Thursday, April 25, hydrants will be flushed on Bethany Road, Croation Court, Stonehenge, Woodgate, Meadow Creek, Electric Park and the DeKalb Avenue business district.
