SYCAMORE – Financial-services firm Edward Jones is looking to hire more financial advisers in the DeKalb/Sycamore area, and will host a career development seminar where potential entrepreneurs can learn more about the company.
According to a news release, the number of individual investors looking for help from financial advisers is growing, and Edward Jones is growing its network of local branch offices.
“As we expand, we’re looking to hire local candidates who fit in with the Edward Jones entrepreneurial culture, one in which high achievers who have a desire to run a business with the support of a much larger organization can serve clients and the communities in which they live and work,” said Chad Walton.
The career development seminar is designed to attract job candidates interested in learning about the challenges and rewards of building a business as an Edward Jones financial adviser. Edward Jones financial advisers will be present to answer any questions.
The seminar will begin at 6 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 19, at the Edward Jones office of Ryan Genz, 1170 DeKalb Ave., Suite 109 in Sycamore. For more information, call 630-232-2204 or visit www.careers.edwardjones.com.
