Sixth grade language arts students at Clinton Rosette Middle School in DeKalb are participating in the Rebecca Caudill Young Readers Book Award Program. Students can check out nominated books from the school library. Students who read at least three of the 20 nominated titles can vote for their favorites. At the end of the voting cycle in February, their votes will be submitted to the organization. Students are exposed to a variety of outstanding novels, and share their thoughts on a wall display in the library. Pictured are students Tyler Sessler, Audri Barraza, Jada Paige, Jaylen Hobsen, Jim Small, Keirsten Cole, Megan LeBlanc and Temijah Broger.
