The Genoa Area Chamber of Commerce, Board hosted a ribbon cutting for Cafe 72, 682 Park Ave. in Genoa. Owners Benny, Stevie and Ray Sabani have been in the restaurant buisness for many years. Cafe 72 serves breakfast, lunch and dinner.

The Sycamore Chamber Ambassador Club held a ribbon cutting ceremony at Think Driven, 1730 Afton Road Unit 3 in Sycamore. Think Driven offers complete auto repair, engine and vehicle rebuilds and modifications.

The Sycamore and DeKalb chambers of commerce held a combined ribbon cutting to celebrate the grand opening of the Kishwaukee College Student Center. This new facility will accommodate increased student demand for services related to financial aid, registration and counseling, as well as an expanded bookstore, dining facilities and student activity space.
