School hosts food drive

SYCAMORE – The students at North Grove Elementary School will collect items from Dec. 10 through 14 for the Sycamore Food Pantry.

About 250 families use the pantry each week. The school appreciates all individual and business donations to the drive and encourages businesses to consider matching donations.

The food pantry is in particular need of canned soup, cereal, boxes of dinner mix such as Hamburger Helper, ketchup, Ramen noodles, canned vegetables, canned fruit, macaroni and cheese, and peanut butter.

Items can be dropped off at North Grove, 850 Republic Ave. in Sycamore, between 8 a.m. and 3 p.m. Dec. 10-14.
