Photo provided Drew Alexander, second from right, is pictured with Diana Hulst, program director of Opportunity House, and with Jane Stiles, Noble Grand and Katy Schertz, Vice Grand, of the Sycamore Angels Rebekah Lodge. Alexander won a television in a Rebekahs raffle and donated it to Opportunity House.

SYCAMORE – Drew Alexander won a 42-inch high-definition television in a raffle by the Sycamore Angels Rebekah Lodge – then gave it away.

Alexander donated the television to Opportunity House. He also purchased and donated a hardware mounting kit to mount the TV to the wall.

Alexander, acting chief operations officer for Cardinal Industries in Maple Park, has contributed to nearly every Rebekah fundraising event since 2011, including food drives, a “critter drive,” a 5K for cancer awareness, meat raffles, holiday fundraisers and more.

Diana Hulst, program director for Opportunity House, was happy to accept Alexander’s gift.
