Dobbeck to celebrate 100th birthday

Willard Dobbeck of DeKalb, formerly of Genoa, celebrated his 100th birthday on Nov. 17.

Friends and family are invited to celebrate at an open house, 2 to 4 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 24 in the Oak Crest Vista Room. It will be hosted by his daughter, Carol (Richard) Beilke, granddaughters Kathy (Prakash) Thatte and Kris (Ross) Oakland, and great-grandchildren Dr. Todd Oakland (Dr. Marissa Cardwell) and Sara (Brian) Oakland Bates. No gifts please. Birthday wishes are welcome and may be sent to 2944 Greenwood Acres Drive, DeKalb, IL 60115.
