SYCAMORE – Dr. Teresa Melton recently attended a three-day seminar titled “Mastering the Thyroid,” presented by Dr. Michael Pierce and hosted by Apex Energetics.

This course taught clinicians how to support the thyroid through natural approaches. The seminar was organized to help clinicians master the concepts of thyroid physiology, assessment and nutritional support. Additional instruction was provided on the role of the immune system, endocrine system, environmental haptens and medication reactions and how they affect thyroid health.
