Feather Party Meat Raffle

G.K. Trailblazers will raffle off more than 40 meat items to support the local snowmobile club and the marking of trails. A portion of the proceeds will be used to help a needy family for Christmas. Raffle tickets $1 each.


Blood Drive

iMatter Farms Fundraiser

Time: 10 a.m. – 3 p.m.

Date: Saturday, Nov. 17

Place: 301 S. Emmett St., at the corner of Emmett and Church

Tupperware, Avon, Tastefully Simple, Pampered Chef and more direct sales companies will be on hand to sell items. There will also be a bake sale and raffles of vendor baskets. Proceeds to help establish iMatter Farms, a residential farm for adults with autism.


Strides for Hunger

Date: Saturday, Nov. 17

Place: Genoa-Kingston High School

Cost: $25 before race day; $30 on race day

Last year, this event raised $500 for the Genoa Food Pantry. This year, organizers hope to double that amount.
